Kakorrhaphiophobia

Kakorrhaphiophobia

A Poem by Robyn

He has no arms but holds you back.
He turns your hopes from white to black.
You doubt yourself, you're scared to try.
You cannot spread your wings and fly.
Cause someone's there you cannot see.
You feel him here, who can it be?

His name is fear.
Fear of Failure.

oh- I sooo love this one.( My son needs to see it.) Fear is such a sneaky horrible creature. it's catchy and it spreads.... Great job with this one! It is very precise and shows growth in your writing skills.

I really love the imagery and flow of this poem. Your rhythm is perfect and I love the honesty of it. The ending line though, threw off the perfect rhythm. Maybe it's the amount of syllables or it's just me. Otherwise I love this poem. Good personification of a phobia.
