Fallen soldier.A Poem by Robert Michael Miller Jr.A proud soldier, ready to die for what he believes, only regrets to leave behind his loved one.The blood drips slowly as it lands beneath my feet Slowly it forms a puddle, I realize I have been beat A poor mans soul is full of guilt and sorrow My soul is pure, although I fear I may not see tomorrow Gold glimmering smooth, you can see it in my eye My legs trembling fiercely as I begin to die I've fallen for my country, please inform my wife I'll forever love you dear, see you in another life.

Mystery/Thrillers are some of my favorite things to read. I love Edgar Allen Poe and I feel like a lot of my style of writing is based on what I learn .. more..Writing
