Fallen soldier.

Fallen soldier.

A Poem by Robert Michael Miller Jr.
"

A proud soldier, ready to die for what he believes, only regrets to leave behind his loved one.

"
The blood drips slowly as it lands beneath my feet
Slowly it forms a puddle, I realize I have been beat

A poor mans soul is full of guilt and sorrow
My soul is pure, although I fear I may not see tomorrow

Gold glimmering smooth, you can see it in my eye
My legs trembling fiercely as I begin to die

I've fallen for my country, please inform my wife
I'll forever love you dear, see you in another life.
