Richard Gere on BroadwayA Poem by RobbenLGBT gay poetry Sexually risky, coming out material“Richard Gere on Broadway” By Robben Wainer
Together we fantasized about Richard Gere on Broadway, In my obsessive compulsive nature I wonder if being any other way Would mean that I am not Jewish I think of my own persecution And my own prohibitions in this rite of passage, There must be something said to divine intervention, Like when I learned to masturbate like a female. I somehow get caught in my faith. Between AIDS/ HIV and men who are negative who don’t need a condom. After all who were the saints and sinners Were we all just the grown men asking for a lay, Or are they all of us In a never under ending celebration Of all that we have left to uncover, In this fine line we draw between the sheets. © 2015 RobbenAuthor's Note
