“I Remember High School”

By Robben Wainer

I remember high school as the days

Of wearing pink and purple dresses and being a cow girl,

He’s another Tommy they would say,

And wink and kiss me  and try to pat my a*s

Getting high was easy,

But a girl in a man’s body was not allowed.

"There was no God in that" said the dean,

As I strutted my stuff

And claimed if it was fine for them to have nothing on,

We reeked of beers,

Playing Frisbee,

And playing in garage bands,

It would have been easier to start a revolution.
