That poor soldier

That poor soldier

A Poem by Rob Funk

He was so happy,

I was so snappy,

This man dared to tell me,

I'm scared,

F**k maybe I should have cared,

I should have never said the things I did,

Write your mom a letter because it wont get better,

This was  going to end  bad,

He was just a kid,

Hence why it makes me so sad,

How I was so cold,

Hell I was just doing what I was told,

But then it was his flag we had to fold,

Well I guess fortune favors the bold,

Or so I am told.
