Night Fright

Night Fright

A Poem by Rob Funk

Was it right,

To go and fight,

We took them in the night,

I had no problem,

I got my intel,

No matter how many men fell,

In the night they could not have missed his screams,

Hell I still hear them in my dreams,

Just another animal,

Or so it seems,

After all I had no care,

He asked why,

I said lifes not fair prepare to die,

A bag on his head,

Now he is dead,

Why,

Just doing what I was told,

Such a pity,

I will never be old,

It's kind of s****y.
