Sunk

Sunk

A Poem by Rob Funk

This life,

I had hoped she would be my wife,

Eternal strife,

They are so happy on the street,

She's got someone to bow at her feet,

What is and what was,

Now I drink just because,

Was it me,

I should just let it be,

You cannot know what its like to be me,

Love,Love,Love,

Killed me,

They say hate is the worst,

Beg to differ,

I would put love first,
