The Bridge

The Bridge

A Poem by Rob Funk

 The cars drive under,

 The sound of thunder,

 Soon I shall be under,

Cold soil cannot spoil,

Blood pumps,

Then I jump,

 Dad said,

Never knew he was in the dumps,

A wonderful poem!! The imagery, the emotion, the sound of this poem is incredible... I enjoyed it very much and like K.S.78 has said, it's very near to me as well.

Rob, I like this one its quite dark, maybe you should change the ' He' to 'Then I Jump'--just a thought.
