Why I Watch the Tiles

Why I Watch the Tiles

A Poem by IComeAnon
"

Why do they move?

"
I'll say something-- Regret it
Tilt my head back
And watch the ceiling tiles move
You'll call and be cute
Adorable, and I love you
but I tilt my head back
And watch the ceiling tiles move
I have no reason to disapprove of me
But I tilt my head back
And watch the ceiling tiles move
And honestly what's the use
When the ceiling tiles move?

I'm not sure I'm sure anymore--

things are what they are.
and I can connect to this feeling,
like there is this dullness,
a love already lost, or maybe never was.
I'm so fond of your writings, the way your words
flow and the truth that comes from them.

great write.
