Quiet Keys

Quiet Keys

A Poem by IComeAnon
"

Wrote it on the fly, feeling sorry for myself on Facebook chat.

"

Grey skin weight on a shower curtain--

Yellow-eye'd beggar-sky certain

It would rain today--

I'm only happy when it's grey.

Great me, tame circus lion certain

I'm a God in a jungle hidden by a curtain.

It's pitiful enough,

What I do to me.

Ha. Self pity.

Don't I know who I used to be?

Don't you know who I think I ought to be?

Read me.Tell me.

I'm talking, but honestly--

I came to listen.

Ah. Self pity.
