Distant

Distant

A Poem by IComeAnon
"

I'm tired of writing descriptions.

"

Miles away-- Miles and miles away--

If we were ants we'd be worlds away

But we're up close, inside you in our new size

I feel so small when I'm your height,

But let's grow this way--

Miles away-- years and years away--

We wait as our time comes years away

Walk out of time, come back where you like

Go out, grow, come back in a new height

I'll look up to you that day--

Years away-- miles and miles away--

We fear the ceiling as we grow a mile each day

All the time that we spent spinning houses

In that entrapping, spider style, our way

Stick me to our family this way--

Years away-- Years and years away--

I pray for our children to come a hundred years away

You cough nations out, out of your lungs, I'll provide

You foundation of our future, I will provide

A million better days--

A year of waste, a year away

A mile high lie-- Run miles with me away!
