Natural

Natural

A Poem by IComeAnon
"

Whatever.

"

I once believed that wind and trees

Would save me, make me stronger

But I laugh at a me I was

And stay in bed a little longer

You can say that things got pretty bad

So I clung to trees and ran from me

But all I got were tired legs

Dirty knees, and awful itchy weeds

Nature is a mess, my bed is warm

And I feel cold

You’d think I’d have thought of this before

-I’m cold

I really enjoyed this write especially the last stanza. I felt this was lovely and the setting feels lonely. well written.
