Hunch

A Poem by IComeAnon
"

Stand up straight, Darling.

"

What makes me separate from you

Is I am just a guy

               To all our friends

While your same indiscretion

And want makes you no more

               Than a weak w***e.

Nihilistic filthiness--

You wash it off with sweat

               And love regret.

That's how all your heroes do--

          Embrace the emptiness.

               You deserve this--

--This  modern world where all

          The monsters are the loved--

               The wanted ones.

All the tall, the beautiful,

          The fragile-pushed-around-

               Lied-to-held-downs--

All the pretty broken shades

          Are disgusting-- mis-known

               For what they've done.

So I laugh, but ache, for you.

          You're lovely for the way

               Your grey eyes break.

Hunch.
