A Conversation Set To Meter

A Conversation Set To Meter

A Poem by IComeAnon
"

Pretty self explanatory title.

"

Winter's cold breast, I drink to you

Heaving of Ice and silver snow

My silver season breathes

And never lets her cold breath go

Silver or Gold, cold or a fire

My wine, your night, I come inspired

Why would you like to be

A rich spark, a happy liar?

Diamond skin, wind wlips star's sweet lips

Of sterling strength up from ice hips

And shattered glass across

December's naked skin and sips

The plat'num sweat from off her neck

The night is drunk from whiskey-sex

My muse, the night, the cold

My dear December night, I've told--

Ne'er hold.
