This city was built with cross roads not safety signs

This city was built with cross roads not safety signs

A Poem by Roary

I could tell you to love me dead

but breathing you in would keep me alive

as i breath me out and live a new

i choke on the smoke

just to coagulate a picture

of where we could have been

If you'd been him and id slowed down

to a small crawl so we could learn to walk together

but perspective is as paradigm was

and we crossed the road in a mess of a X

'Don't walk'

So we talk

amongst the city streets and silent bores and city w***e

only to get muffled

amid the inner city shuffle
