Chapter 7

The next day while I'm walking to school I desperately hoping for Alex to come find me. I want to tell him that maybe he can help.

Is it wrong to want to use him for sex? Why do I even have to ask that? Of course it is. But, he wants to help me, and I believe this is a way he can help.

"Hey, why'd you ditch me yesterday?" I suddenly hear Alex say when he pops up beside me.

I just stay silent.

"There isn't any new cuts in your wrist right?" He asks. I shake my head hoping he won't look. Course then he grabs my arm and pulls up my sleeve. "Kurai." He groans, "I can tell these are fresh cuts." He holds his hand out. "Ok, where's the blade?"

"It's at home." I say.

He stops me and he carefully checks my pockets then my backpack. Finally he decided I didn't have a blade and gives me back my bag. When in reality, I have it tucked safely in my sock. I figured he wouldn't check there.

"Hey Alex?" I ask him.

"Yeah?" He responds.

"I think I'm gonna give you a chance." His face lights up at what I said.

"Really?" He suddenly hugs me tightly and when he pulls away he has a big goofy smile on his face. Wow he really wanted to help. "That's great! Come on we gotta get to school." He grabs my wrist and he pulls me the rest of the way to school.

We get to school and he pulls me all the way to his locker. He was also somehow avoiding all the bullies and such. Though I did hear multiple people whisper or cough out f*g.

"Well lets get to class." He says after he grabs his books and the bell rings. We then head to class.

After school when we were walking home I decide to hold his hand, hoping that it'll lead him on. I got my answer when he wraps his fingers around mine and he looks at me with a small smile.

"So you're actually gonna give me a chance?" He asks. I just nod without looking at him. "Look at me." He gently grabs my chin and pulls my head up.

We stop walking and just stare into each others eyes for a bit.

"I'm sorry for pointing this out, but your eyes look dead." He finally says.

"I know." Was all I said.

He pulls my face towards his and our lips connect in a gentle kiss.

My heart speeds up at the sudden contact and my face turns to shock.

He pulls away and he gives me a small smile again. "There we go, that put some emotion in your eyes."

I suddenly pull away from him. What? What am I feeling for him? I'm so confused right now.

"Kurai what's wrong?" He asks.

Without another word I just run the rest of the way home.
