JUST FOR A LITTLE WHILE

JUST FOR A LITTLE WHILE

A Poem by SJ Mullins
"

I have spent my life doing for everyone else with very little regard for myself and what I want. Is it wrong for me to want time for myself, even if just for a little while?

"
I want to live in total abandon
go where I want
when I want
just for a little while

I want to do what I want
to be free
from responsibility
just for a little while

I want to soak in a bubble bath
with candles lit around me
without disruption
Just for a little while

I want time to read
write, and take photos
when I want
Just for a little while

I want time for me, myself, and I
without anyone
taking offense
Just for a little while

Making time for yourself is so important. Mothers are in high demand but they need time for refreshment and renewal. Your poem is an important reminder.
