Still WaitingA Poem by Riya patelMy eyes are still waiting, My heart is still beating, To see a glance of you. When the door knocked, I thought, it was you, But I was shocked, And my blood turned blue. You left home, In a uniform, The only thing that came back was the news of your tomb, And your body wrapped in pennon. Your love for mother land, Was far more than, Your love for your own mother. You are not only my son, But the son of our country, You made our nation proud, You are the hero of the crowd.
