I see

I wrote this when I was seven. Not that I actually remember seeing the WTC falling

I see a bird flying
Out at sea.
I see a cat running
Down the street.
I see a fish swimming
Down the stream.
I see a boat sailing
Out at sea.
I see a girl jogging
Down the street
I see a crab walking
Down the stream.
I see this, all this peace
In a world of war.
I see the Twin towers falling
Buildings exploding.
I see people starving
Rivers dying.
We can stop this
Every one of us.
Do some thing now.
For our grandchildren.

Author's Note

Just so you know, this is a preservation for my later years: this version at least will never be changed.
