This is how I feel

This is how I feel

A Poem by Pluto
"

I wrote this when I was seven in response to getting in trouble, and having my incredible teacher set me down with her large notebook and asking me to write about my feelings. I think she mentioned a poem. It was good enough for me to not get in trouble.

"

A fright, a scare,
A jump in the night,
Nothing to fix it.
A lurch and a bump,
To push you out of bed.
Roar of lion, flash of teeth,
Terror unimaginable.
All squeezed into ten minutes of light.

Giants growl, to the world,
Pushing you around.
Swirling seas beneath,
Lightning crashing above,
But dangling in between is you, terrified.
Trapped in a nightmare, you.

On a plank, wibble wobble
In the middle,
Nothing special,
Ignored.
The sound of a shark,
Makes you fall,
Down, down, doooooown,
To a terrible fate.
Nightmare.

The last paragraph sucks because it was after I had calmed down. Just so you know, this is a preservation for my later years: this version at least will never be changed.

The first two stanzas had my heart racing wanting more but as you say the third one is a little 'dull' maybe if you erase it completly you would bring up the overall quality after all you got what you wanted to say said in the first two paragraphs
