I'm nobody

I'm nobody

A Poem by Emmy

I'm the dappled shadow
Of a large tree
But you simply don't notice me.

I'm the brilliant leaf falling
On the ground, soon to be
But you simply don't notice me

I'm the spring breeze blowing
The midday showing
Am I not there?

I'm the petal of a flower
A cool April shower
Though no one seems to care

I'm the puddle on the ground
Your reflection when you look down
Showing what we share
But do you mind?
No, you're not that kind!

I'm the m and the n,
Stuck in the middle
I'm a simple note
Played by the fiddle

But I'm not helpless
I won't give up now
There's still the few
That want me around

The ones who do love me
And truly do care
The ones that will push me
And give me new dares

emily this is beautiul it seems you feel neglected...try adding some hope into it..I am wondering if there is something that notices the brilliant leaf falling...like the honeybee or the raindrop
