Sunflowers

Sunflowers

A Poem by Riverdance
"

Just a simple write of sunflowers =)

"

Soft yellow silk

Unfurl tender warmth

Climbing high

High towards the sky

Though simple they be

Their purpose is rare

For not all of God's splendor

Boldly reaches so far

They may not have class

Or enrapture with smells

But their beauty and purpose

Is better than all

What a warm and inviting poem

Simple, but the reader can easily connect to the feelings behind the words.

Nicely done

I think everyone loves sunflowers. As you say, they are simple, but beautiful. Simplicity is good. Thank you for writing such a nice poem.
