From the StartA Poem by RiverdanceInspired from the "Unseen" seriesFrom the start, I knew the difference Between diff'rent people in this world Those who sought truth and saw the light From those who stumbled through
From the start, I knew I was rare But not in a good way I feel I see more in each passing day Than most ever see through their eyes
From the start, this curse I've known This unwanted talent of mine A fleeting thought, a new idea That separates me from the norm
From the start, I've known all along Companions are not meant for me The way I speak, the way I live Foreign to all those around
From the start, I've felt an ache Deep within my wandering soul An emptiness sthat can't be filled Isolation from this "talent" unearned © 2008 RiverdanceFeatured Review
