From the Start

From the Start

A Poem by Riverdance
"

Inspired from the "Unseen" series

"

From the start, I knew the difference

Between diff'rent people in this world

Those who sought truth and saw the light

From those who stumbled through

From the start, I knew I was rare

But not in a good way I feel

I see more in each passing day

Than most ever see through their eyes

From the start, this curse I've known

This unwanted talent of mine

A fleeting thought, a new idea

That separates me from the norm

From the start, I've known all along

Companions are not meant for me

The way I speak, the way I live

Foreign to all those around

From the start, I've felt an ache

Deep within my wandering soul

An emptiness sthat can't be filled

Isolation from this "talent" unearned

Mmmm...I agree that not all talents are wantingly possessed. Great job on capturing this character's emotions.
