Chapter Three: Mystery Guy and The Party~

A Chapter by RiverSong

Isabelle was sat in the car with Jade who was still on about Isabelle falling off the chair. Isabelle groaned and said “just forget it, Jade” as Daniel also started laughing.

Jade grinned and said “I can’t believe you fell off the chair”.

Isabelle let a sigh pass her rosy pink lips as she said “if you don’t shut up, I’ not going to this stupid party”.

Isabelle knew that this part being held at Asher’s house was the key to her mission and she would find what she needed but she wanted Jade to shut up.  Asher was a member of the gang and he had exactly what she was looking for.

Jade whined and but then fell silent.

Isabelle’s slender fingers splayed across the soft material of her black and gold dress.

As the car stopped outside of the house she hopped out of the car.

Her long dress swished around her as it perfectly fitted her hourglass figure, she pulled on her glittering silver mask that covered the top half of her face. Her dark curls tumbled down to her waist as her moss green eyes peered out of the mask.

Beside her Jade was wearing a midnight blue dress that stopped mid-thigh and fit her hourglass figure perfectly. Her straight blonde hair skimmed against her shoulders as it played against her gold and blue mask.

Jade smirked and said “let’s get this party started”.

Jack and Daniel had already gone in and were partying.

Isabelle sighing nodded and walked into the house, she was instantly greeted with loud music and a mass of dancing bodies.

Whining she muttered “Jade, there’s too many people”.

Nobody responded she glanced behind her and almost growled Jade was no longer there and probably off dancing with some random person.

Isabelle trying not to be noticed stood back against the wall, away from the dancing mass of people.

She briefly closed her eyes as she tried to calm down when suddenly someone’s arms wrapped around her, she pushed the person away from her and yelled “what are you doing?”.

Jack moving towards her said “chill sis, it’s only me” he lifted his mask to expose his face.

Isabelle hugged him and sighing said “sorry, there are just too many people here”.

Jack nodded knowing that she could be very claustrophobic at times and he moved her so she was beside a window and a door as he worriedly said “where’s Jade?”.

Isabelle glancing around said “I don’t know, you can go if you want” she felt bad about making him stay with her.

Jack frowned and said “no I’ll stay Izzy”.

Isabelle rolled her moss green eyes and said “I’ll be fine”.

Jack slowly nodded and brushing a kiss across her cheek said “keep your phone on you” then disappeared into the dancing throng of people.

Isabelle looked around with a sigh as she remembered her mission and silently disappeared beyond the nearby door.

She crept up the nearby passage way of stairs and then found herself in a large room, just like the one she had seen in the picture. A grin crossed her rosy pink lips as she knew she was close to finding what she needed; she searched around for a particular something.

The light of the moon seeped in through the half frosted window as she silently looked through the books on the shelves and in the drawers. Tapping her slender fingers against her mouth she slowly spun in a circle, her moss green eyes drinking in everything about the room.

Her posture suddenly straightened and she went still as her moss green eyes zeroed in on the wind chimes and a flash of her dream came back to her, she opened her eyes and her eyes narrowed in on the small key that hung in the centre of the glass wind chimes.

She held back a squeal of excitement as she gently took the key and clasped it into the pal of her hand. She then repeated the slow spinning process as she looked for a hidden door. She crouched down and moved alongside the wall as her fingers trailed across as she tried to find something that was out of place and help her when  a deep cough sounded behind her and stopped her in her tracks.

Her heart started thudding in her chest as she prayed that it wasn’t Asher or his dad, her eyes met with a pair of black motorcycle boots and standing up slowly as the guy impatiently tapped his foot. she gathered her dress up and looked up at the guy.

Her moss green eyes met with a masked face like her own and a pair of hazel coloured eyes that held a hint of green within them. He bit her lower lip and brushing back a few stray curls she said “I-I’m lost”.

He rolled his eyes at her and coldly said “well then I’ll show you the way out”, he glared daggers at her.

He gripped her arms and dragged her out of the room. Isabelle gulped and her moss green eyes stared at the back of his head as she felt a twinge of familiarity upon seeing the raven black tousled hair.

He roughly pulled her down the stairs she protested and tried to pull away from him but his grip only tightened and she knew that she would have a bruise later.

Abruptly he stopped in the middle of the dance floor as he spun her around roughly and she fell into a lean figure that was only known as Asher…
