Chapter One: Flashback~A Chapter by RiverSongShe ran down the cold cobbled street, her breathe puffing out in front of her as she disappeared into the dark lit corner. She was seen as a blur against out slight intrigued vision, for is she was seen her life would be a high stake prison. Her black boots glided against the cobbled ground as she ran and ran, her dark curls falling against the soft fair skin of her face. She bit her lower lip as her moss green eyes met with the brick wall which blocked her profound escape. A flash of fear graced the presence of her pretty face. She made the mistake of spinning around when she heard footsteps behind her and spinning round her forehead was met with the cold barrel of the sleek black gun. Her hourglass figure swayed slightly as her deep moss green eyes met with his ice cold blue ones as she choked out “y-you?”. A smirk danced across his full lips as he said “surprise”. A deep unbound fear curled into a fist at the deep pits of her stomach. She briefly closed her eyes as she submitted herself to the cloaked figure that had her death engraved on his hands. A dark humorless chuckle brushed against the tips of her ear and she hid a shiver as his emotionless voice spoke in her mind. A moment of silence filled the eerie night air as her heart thudded in her chest as she considered her options: to die or to do as he said in her mind and run forever. “Your time starts now, princess” his voice held a razor sharp edginess that pierced through her mind and thoughts without a trace of doubt or regret. She did not respond to his statement but zipped up her leather jacket and turned to leave, faking an air of confidence. Suddenly his slender hand gripped her arm and his lips brushed against the soft skin of her cheek as he murmured “remember one thing I am the time keeper”, his cold laugh danced against the harsh wind. “Tick tock, tick tock” his voice echoed against the silence and she took off running, her black boots thudding against the floor like the distant beat of a drum. He had chosen her fate and the question was how well would she carry out. A flash of gold illuminated the night sky and twirled slightly, a speck of gold waiting for the mystery to unfold….
