The RaceA Poem by RiverOfSilverThe Race
The flags began waving- every color from every country, lay scattered in the stands, seeming to cheer on the runners just like the fans, waiting for the event to begin (and soon!) Down on the track, a rainbow of skin tones was arranged, and ready for the starting gun. A shot was heard (the starting gun, of course) and then- they were off! The crowd roared, the runners ran, and the flags still waved. But suddenly, there was silence. The runners had all finished, all at the same time- Everyone is equal in the eyes of God.
