Curiosity of Time

Curiosity of Time

A Poem by RiverOfSilver

Curiosity of Time

I am a curious and imaginative child.

I wonder what the world will look like through another's eyes.

I hear the whispers of others thoughts.

I see the pale shadows of someone's memory, fleeing my sight.

I want to see the world in a different light.

I am a curious and imaginative child.

I pretend that what I create lives on in another universe.

I feel the ghosts of time pass me by.

I touch the shadows of my ancestors before me.

I worry that one day, we will live without creativity and curiousity.

I cry when I think of my loved ones, lost forever.

I am a curious and imaginative child.

I understand that someday, I too will pass into shadows.

I say to live life with no regrets- only joys.

I dream about the potential, sleeping in every living thing.

I try to help others; to lift their spirits when they're down.

I hope that someday, we will live in harmony together.

I am a curious and imaginative child.
