A Jaded VagabondA Poem by RivaRazdanThis poem and the next one is about a close friend of mine who as an army brat had been forced to move across countries in her childhood, having to acclimatize to unfriendly people and hostile places.
She stares outside the window,
at the places passing by. Travelling, moving forward has been her way of life. Focused and strong she marches, into the unknown. Masking emotions with laughter, Hardening her heart into stone. She squints at the world beneath her, through eyes rimmed with kohl. Exuding confidence in stilettos, Let yourself stumble and fall.
