The day i left my lodging..

The day i left my lodging..

A Poem by Ritesh
"

my recent past

"

The day I left my lodging

The day I left my lodgings

with beds and all that packings.

A balmy day perhaps.

-"You are forgetting something chap"

that was my mate,

with whom I spend almost a year,

and I was leaving for him,

something from my sare

but the reality was,

I never wanted to take them home,

Great! he kept them as if those were his own.

saying goodbye to the landlady

she was good to me,

but not so,

for everyone's case

perhaps owing to my innocent face.

Here the two year ends.

when as a boy in his teens,

stepped out of his realms.

How it passed is still a mystery,

for an orator like me

stepping out to new school's dies,

How remained a difficult price.

As my friend, who witnessed it all

Is a critique of box offices rise and fall.

few would remember him

    'the farewells day'

who stepped out for healthy practicals hay.

with due respect, I bore his ascent,

-the beginning was smooth

till interval, there were ups and down,

but the end was almost upside down,

pouring the structure on my own town.

.................................................................

It was cool outside

with a happy breeze blowing with pride,

and swirling were the trees

but inside me it was

never less than 'one hundred three'

ketols and aldol were good to hold,

but there were dienes

still to be mind.

Only I and those corticosteroids knew,

about the struggling show

'mathematics exam three hours'

using even the pinpricks of patience

that was in my chest

out of the hold of pyrexias power,

Somehow I passed the trial

but for the upcoming big tussle

the hospital was never a good place to hassle

If I would be a believer in god,

I could ask for his grace

Alas! I was afraid,

'I may leave without making a trace'.

'Handle with care'

the needle and saline ware

it sucks blood even,

amidst the drowsiness

confirming' you are not in heaven.'

was it really so,

or being overrated by a crow

the jury have different opinions,

All I can say

about the days passed,

yeah! they were hard.

Hard to lie down and gaze,

when life was showing a different shade,

and to recall what master had phrased

about a matrixes trace.

Now, it is all over

packing the bags

leaving the place forever.

Achievers of my time

who fought with all might,

may think

it is just a rhyme

I'll not object

but yeah! it was a hard time

I will not make it longer,

as a lost bee

never hmms.. a melodious song.

Let me alone still in a gale,

to stay with you

there are lots of success tales.
