Power-bawlA Poem by Rita L. Sev...I
didn’t win the lottery, my
hopes and dreams are dashed I
had so many awesome plans for
all that cold, hard cash
I
could have bought a mansion, and
paid off massive debt; procured
some yachts and islands, defined
the new jet set
I’d
have shared with friends and family, and
charities, of course; enrolled
in all the fancy clubs that
millionaires endorse
But
now there’ll be no brand-new life, just
routine circumstance I
guess I should stop leaving my
happiness to chance © 2016 Rita L. SevAuthor's Note
