Zen in Real Life

I cannot fold a fitted sheet,

not to save my life;

a scandal as a woman,

a homemaker, a wife

I’ve heard advice from other folks,

explained in great detail

I’ve watched the how-to videos

of course, to no avail

this one small task that troubled me

made me incomplete;

I now embrace the beauty

in unfolded fitted sheets

I may be going crazy... this is the only poem that has come to mind in ages... Oh well, back to the laundry... ;)
