There is a tree on the lawn across the street from my house. It can be seen perfectly from my living room window. I watch the seasons change on her branches...

I have a similar tree across the street that goes through the most impressive changes throughout the year, right now much like the tree in your photo for this poem.
Well written, I enjoyed this.

:) The "plumpness" of this neighbor adds to her beauty... Thanks so much, Frieda!
I think, simply by reading this, that I too can watch the seasons change in the mirror of this write about a tree that changes her leaves colors just as the seasons change. She sheds her leaves and in so doing she bares witness to the coming of winter. What a brilliant piece.

Wow, I so relate to this...my backyard is literally part of a walking trail, and there are lots of trees to see when I look out my window...I can also chart the progress of the seasons quite clearly...I love the metaphors and colours in this piece...tangerine is one I'd never thought of before...love the 'wardrobe' as well...this is a gorgeous tribute to autumn...nicely done Rita :)

big smile across my facha bruta .. i can just see you at the window watching her sway in the breezes as she changes .. the colorful maples don't do well around here and the few that have thrived are in well known locations .. their crimson brilliance is undeniably spectacular .. you do such enjoyable work Rita! another delight for me!
