FortuneA Poem by Rita L. SevSeuss Style #2In Hollyville they always dine On sautéed figs and truffled wine They sit at tables dressed in gold Counting riches twenty-fold
While on the other side of town In Hollyburg, THEY all sit down To humble bread and ale buffet Counting blessings every day
If you could, you just might wish To partake in the ville-side’s dish But treasures can be overdone; Among so much, you value none
You see, when simple pleasures reign You worry not about more gain And every sunrise is a thrill When hearts are all you need to fill © 2014 Rita L. SevAuthor's Note
