Plastic Perfection

A Poem by Rita L. Sev

As a girl I had great objection

To my Barbie doll’s girly perfection

When it seemed very plain

That she hadn’t a brain

I ditched the whole plastic collection

like the Jefferson Airplane song "she's a plastic fantastic lover" but not much else i guess.

perfection is in the imperfection...and much more about what's on the inside.

nicely penned.

Thanks, Jacob. Yes, imperfection is much more interesting...
This was great Rita. I'm not sure what I liked better, your poem or your author's note. That was funny.
