This is the last

       this moment, the last of its kind

and as it disintegrates

on the breeze of “before”

bid it farewell

 

This is the first

       this moment making its debut

and as it unfolds

on the altar of “now”

My daughter graduated. I told her she will miss school. The poem is true. After we leave High School. We separate and create our own life and hard to stay in contact. Thank you for the amazing poetry for the kids.
