GravityA Poem by Rita L. Sev<>A poem fell in the world today, it
didn’t make a sound
Its gentle wisdom touched no one, for
no one was around
Its imagery and metaphor, its meter and its tone ~ they
lifted no one’s spirit, for
that poem was alone
When an earnest lyric echoes ~ into the blankness calls ~ gravity gains
