Grandma's TestimonyA Poem by Rita L. SevJumped on Frieda's Fairy Tale train...I
was waiting for my granddaughter To
bring me by some goodies; She
fills my home with sunny cheer, Dressed
in her crimson hoodie
When
my front door flew open My
heart was filled with dread; A
horrid brute was standing there, And
not my precious Red!
You
may have heard he did me in; Well
that just isn’t true I
grabbed my knitting needles And
I skewered him right through
Never
underestimate A
Granny when she’s mad; Speak
not of “little, frail and old” ~ Who’s really big and bad? © 2014 Rita L. SevAuthor's Note
