Simple Goals

This year I’ll do all sorts of things

I’ve never done before 

I’ll swim across the ocean,

I’ll discover every cure

I’ll earn the Nobel Prize for Peace

I’ll win the Superbowl,

Survive a daring visit

To a nearby big black hole

Imagine the adventure,

Imagine all the praise ~

I’ll be called a super hero

To the end of all my days

Then again, it might be wise to bring

My goals back down to earth ~

A grand dream may be fanciful,

But actions have more worth.
