A Prayer for Angel

The Lord is in the heavens

and there’s bustle down below

people shopping, wrapping, playing

amid ornaments and snow

 

He’s watching very closely,

as we celebrate His birth,

His most devoted advocate ~

an Angel here on earth

 

For now, her wings are lying still

So to the Lord we pray

that through His loving care,

she will be home by Christmas Day

As many of you know, the WC's Angel is ill. Her family has asked for prayers for her recovery, and are hoping to have her home by Christmas.

This is perfect Rita. Angel is a very special lady and I hope she is home with here family for Christmas.

This is so sweet Rita...I hope everyone will read this and say a little prayer for her and her children. During this busy holiday we do need to remember that many people are alone or ill. Hospitals and nursing homes don't suddenly empty because its Christmas. Sadly life goes on as it always does without respite.

The more prayers and good thoughts sent, the better... You are so right about hospitals. My sister is a nurse in a pediatric hospital. There are always kids there for Christmas...
