I Am The Road

I am the road

        full of holes and cracks

        paved over, but the scars

        are there

 

I am the road

        to unbridled adventure,

        and unknown corners,

        to past recollections and future folly

 

I am the road

        broken

        and winding

        yet which remains

firmly under your feet

 

When you have wandered

into weary ~

 

I am the road

to lead you home.

This is a wonderful mantra poem in the tradition of the poetic masters of India. This poem could contain a thousand verses. Reminds me of that old song with words something like this:

“I am a rock …
I am an I … I … I island,
and a rock never cries …”
… strum … strum … strum … strum ...

Yeah! Of course, your really a Road and you've well said, you're who shows the right path to every-one, your who lights the future of someone... because every woman's what that makes and brights every man's life and shows him a right path to walk on besides it a man always gives her pain, wrenches her body, brings much tears' on her face at all and so on but woman never leaves the hand of a man whether she's in pain or she's in joy, she always lighten up the path to a man for his convenience to walk on nicely without any kinda pain because all pain she drinks and gives nothing to him but her whole life to him.

Well, yeah, your right .. in today's life am seeing that a man that has/had his own personality once a time is been gone from his life because a man always respects women but now a days .. a man doesn't show some respect and which's become a reason of "Crime".. yeah! If a man won't respect woman then of course he'll make crime as he's lifting it up day by day. Due to such kinda bad men good people/men're getting wrongly interpreted by women ...

... Like if a take an example of this cafe site then i'd say that "Adults-stuffs' are what writers love writing especially the new-age folks. Yeah, am not saying it's bad.. it's good but if they write then they sholudn't disrespect the meaning of love, love means "NO-PAIN" but they want to give pain ... So, such kinda things're making world bad ...

... but i've got one more thing good people, writers, men're still in this world who know the respect, the pride of women .. and am sure women're safe in their arms ..
after all, hot guys just as same as me love keeping women in the arms of flower, yeah, sometimes they put them into a bucket of roses too when they get their arm tired.

The lonely road or the road to redemption...this piece I feel could relate to many people in many different ways. A great piece open to interpretation Rita. For me, the road is long, it winds and under the paved surface remain scars that remind me of yester year. There is always a road home though. It's wether we choose to take that road that counts.
