Savings

Savings

A Poem by Rita L. Sev
"

...

"

Time to dive

into darkened dawns

of fog and fragile frost

Checking my balance…

I hope I have saved

enough daylight

to last through the winter

;) Yes, I am not sure where I am in Time... Thanks, E!
Love the alliteration in this one, Rita....it rolls off the tongue when read aloud. May you always find the daylight and walk in the sunshine. Good write. Lydi**

Thank you, Lydi - and may you as well!
It has just occurred to me why I had so little sleep but felt ever so good. I time traveled. A ray of light your poem.

Time travel - yes, that's what it is! LOL! Thanks, Pryde!
The time makes little difference to me...I didn't save it or lose it...

The whole process puzzles me - as if we are really "saving" time...
If you have plenty of vitamin D onboard Rita, you'll be fine !

Good advice! Thanks, Tom!
The tightrope of life requires that we keep our balance through all the seasons. It's the only thing that sees us through to the other side.

This poem is balanced to perfection.

Thank you, Linda - I appreciate the read and comments!
darker colder days...we hope we can afford to get through therm...both with heating bills...but also can the heart itself sustain as things get dark and dreary...

we hope to keep a smile...hopefully we have saved enough positive emotion to get through.

That is the hope... Thank you, Jacob.
wait is this today? haha. I feel some fragile hope behind these words, as if the dark cold might last forever. I like it and did not expect it!

The dark seems to linger, but we can bring our own sunshine... Thank you, Aaron.
This is cool, Rita. The changing of season means you have to make adjustments again.
Like it!
