My weakness are for concise gems like this one. Great reference with "remember". This can sit alongside Robert Frost's October and Thomas Hood's November.

What a cute write, Rita. The rhythm and rhyme are perfect, and your humorous side shines brightly in each line. (I'm not welcoming September with any enthusiasm, though - to me winter is an evil force waiting in the wings. ) But I enjoyed your poem very much.
