I liked the repetition of "The poets dare to dream" in each stanza. Yes, we do dare to dream because we see things others tend to overlook. Not sure we can all command words as well as you can, but we do dabble with them....and we enjoy it. Wonderful poetry here. Lydi**

Thank you so much, Lydi - believe me, you do more than dabble!
The repetition of the first line sets a solid tone for the rest of the piece, and you execute very naturally flowing rhymes. You display the wonder and even audacity of poets to dream and to dare and it is a very fine display. Nicely done.

Thank you, Will - I love your use of the word "audacity" here - yes, poetry is audacious! :)

People tend to use that word in a negative context, but I fell like it can go both ways for sure.

Although I write of more mundane things than sighs and butterflies, I like to think my goals are as lofty as you say. There is no doubt, though, that you are accurately describing yourself. Another splendid poem.

Oh yes.........we must ever dream!! It is when we stop dreaming that we are defeated and I know of no better way to share it than in a poem, story, or piece of prose!
Thank you!!!
This is lovely. I am proud to be a member of the WC fellowship...one of the poets who dares to dream.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful poem with me, Rita!!
Thank you, Angel - a fun and quirky fellowship it is! :)
