I like the lines:
"At their command words take a stand
upon a stormy shore"
What it makes me think of is how every poem, no matter what it's about, always has some sad or nostalgic feeling to it. (I know I'm probably the only person on the world who would think that so maybe could you explain to me what was your reason for those lines?)

I believe that there is poetry in everything; the Poet finds the poem and writes of his or her passion, good or bad, for the topic. Be it sunshine or stormy shores, the Poet gives it a voice... :) Thanks for reading and for your insight!
Well, thanks, Sweety for writing such a beautiful piece for all W.C writers. It`s much appreciative. I like all verses which are well penned with your emotions ---- with much meaning of the life. Beautiful poem!
I can relate to this even though I'm not a poet. Its because I bothered to allow myself to dream about it that I managed to put my own fantasy story together and I'm glad I let myself do that. But this is very true in its real message; my boyfriend is an up and coming poet, maybe I should show him this! Your work is very well written and exceedingly thought-provoking! :)

Thank you, Mira - yes, share this with your boyfriend, and encourage him to keep up the dream!
I can truly relate to every single word you've shared here. This is what poetry is truly about. Although we all have our own individual written missions as poets, our works resonate one common interest, to be read, heard and interpreted as a life changing inspirational messages for all who care to be interested. Great work Rita. A gripping and amazing read. :)
I couldn't help reading and reviewing it again. Beautifully written, Rita. One can only hope and strive to live up to your words. Superbly rhymed and structured with the internal rhymes in the third lines of the stanzas adding to the melodic sound.
Well crafted. Feeling of lightness and upward movement. (soar, wings, lofty) Best lines: "At their command words take a stand/Upon a stormy shore" I'm now going to contradict myself--with "wings of prayer" works but seemed close to cliche and would wonder if another phrase could fit?
Grog is a magnificent word.
