How do you spill out the stuff that seems so complicated in such easy terms. Yesterday holds some big old thorns and tomorrow holds so much unknown. I am trying, Rita. I am. Good message here, girl. Angi~

So we'll call it an occupational hazard! :) Thanks, Angi!
I really like how you crafted this one into a letter format. I think that added a really personal tone to the poem which helped to show the interconnections you were going for. The second stanza in this poem is my favorite--you show us that tomorrow is a gift to be thankful for, and that you will honor that gift in the best way you can. That makes me very glad.

This poem got be thinking about trees, and how they‘re so much like ourselves. Our memories retain impressions of our past just as the rings of a tree retain weather changes over a tree’s lifetime. A tree would be nothing without its trunk . A tree lives within a thin layer of life just above its trunk that connects its past with its future.
