Lion's ToothA Poem by Rita L. SevHere it is, Rich... I like yours better! :)They say that
you are just a weed though many
critters do you feed. You start
life with a fuzzy head; the roaring
mower you must dread. Like wild
flowers that bloom in spring, you cover
almost everything. Gardeners aim
to kill your blooms with horrid
vile toxic fumes. When young I
used to search for hours for these
weeds I thought were flowers. Now my inner
child cries at every
dandelion’s demise. © 2013 Rita L. SevAuthor's Note
