A bit of perspective

I think that I am of great importance

my intentions so grand in my mind

the wide world revolves on a whim

dreams must materialize

but lately I have felt

this balloon deflate

shrinking my heart

and I know

I   am 

small

You paint a vivid picture of what it's like to feel small in accordance with your circumstance that any reader can relate to. Flow is good; line to line transition and breaks are well done.
