This one is Frieda's fault... :)

People think it’s wonderful

that I sneeze out happy rainbows

but believe me it’s distracting,,

blowing colors from my nose

Being followed by the sunshine

that makes my outlook bright

gives me awful sunburn

and it keeps me up at night

And oh, what I could tell you

of excreting unicorns ~

I’m sure you can imagine,

when you think about those horns…

Pffttt...there was a time years ago when I blew rainbows and unicorns out my a*s too. People would cringe at the sound of me singing zippity doo dah every where I went with my chipmunk cheeks glowing. My perpetual glass half full attitude caused them to mutter and curse. Sadly after some time I became jaded....bah humbug and all that jazz. ;-p

I was exaggerating a bit. I'm not a humbug kind of person. And laughing about the bad stuff is still one of my saving graces. Just not as cheery about things anymore. Funny how outlooks change during a lifetime. :-)

The bit about the unicorns made me smile and chuckle to myself. This is a very good and lighthearted way of addressing happiness having a positive outlook on things.
