High-maintenance drama and braying jackasses

Sensitive egos as fragile as glasses

Treacherous villains and kid-bickerings

These are a few of my least favorite things

 

When the tide turns, when the words burn

Over the foul line

I simply refer to these childish things,

And then I don’t feel so fine

I love this. The great thing about some poems is - they can be applied to all kinds of situations and people. You know i see myself in this and I'm ok with it. I think I live right here

Sensitive egos as fragile as glasses" - so often I bray my indignation in a blog or a rant and then I read it and think OH LORD. no wonder people think you're a weirdo. And so often my ego gets bruised. Not just here but in my daily life.
And I love the homage to the original - I found myself singing your words....and giggling. A great poem

On a serious note these are also my least favorite things...but since society seems to be infested with this sickness we must all deal with it. Sad...frustrating and infuriating as it may be.
