I have long held the opinion that the amount of noise that anyone can bear undisturbed stands in inverse proportion to his mental capacity... - Arthur Schopenhauer
Oh so many distractions lol Takes some concentration to not notice. But what can one do? Kick everyone out, yes thats it! Lol

Haha! Happened to me too. I think thoughts come from everything and can be taken by anything at any given time. Now there goes nothing. Frisky write. I liked it.
Murphy's Law at work here, Rita. But I love the flow and rhyme here; you really have a knack for that. I'm sur that any writer can relate to the constant interruptions to our train of thought. Nicely done.

it's always the way, isn't it? you are on a roll, wonderful lines and thoughts coming to your mind and the phone rings, or a knock at the door, or an inane conversation which could have waited forever...and various and other sundry interruptions of little or no importance....well penned!

like talking to a parrot.....argh! you're welcome!
I LOVE this title! So clever. ...and man, haven't we all been there. I have actually snapped at my dogs to go away! ...off they go, with heads down, tails hanging. Then I feel like total crap and bribe their love back with pats and treats. By then, my masterpiece is back to the fringes. Great poem, Rita! Angi~

This made me laugh! The title pulled me after I finished giggling, hehehe. A awesome job, I get distracted so easily. I listen to music, I start singing. People are in the room, I start talking. I see food, I go eat, hahaha. Nothing helps! This was great and made me laugh.
Awesome job, Rita!

Thanks, Noodle! I am easily distracted too, as you can see... :)
Goddamn dog. I have a cat. She wants me to pet her constantly, but she doesn't bark. My girl friend interrupts me all the time but what in the hell am I supposed to do about it? She gets priority over the WC. She likes to be pet too, but not constantly.
